Production Manager

We are currently looking for a Production Manager for a leading player in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 80 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

• Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to ensure timely and efficient production of gloves. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Lead, train, and supervise production teams, ensuring optimal workforce allocation and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work culture. Manage staffing levels and ensure that production teams are adequately trained in processes and safety protocols.
• Ensure that all products produced meet quality specifications and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, and other industry-specific regulations). Work closely with the quality control team to address defects, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze and improve production processes to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste. Utilize lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques to optimize production lines and implement automation or other process enhancements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures. Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards, including OSHA regulations, and drive safety initiatives within the production facility.
• Oversee production-related budgets and expenses, ensuring that production costs are in line with financial goals. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining production quality and output.
• Prepare and present production reports, including KPIs, output levels, downtime analysis, and efficiency metrics. Document production activities and ensure accurate record-keeping of daily operations, maintenance logs, and inventory.
  
  

the experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing engineering or any relevant discipline.
• Candidates from glove manufacturing or rubber manufacturing industyr are preferred.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
